CampusPin Glossary
Articulation agreement
A formal contract between two schools (typically community college → 4-year university) that pre-approves specific course transfers.
An articulation agreement is a course-by-course mapping that says "Course X at School A counts as Course Y at School B." It removes guesswork for transfer students. Some agreements cover entire programs ("complete the AS in Engineering at School A and matriculate as a junior in Mechanical Engineering at School B"). Always confirm the most recent articulation agreement directly with both schools — they update annually.
