CampusPin Glossary
Meets full demonstrated need
A school commitment to fund 100 % of the calculated gap between cost of attendance and the family's expected contribution.
A school that "meets 100 % of demonstrated need" pledges that admitted students will receive a financial-aid package (grants, work-study, sometimes loans) covering the full COA minus the family's SAI/EFC. Approximately 65 U.S. colleges make this commitment for U.S. students. The composition matters: some no-loan schools meet need entirely with grants; others include modest student loans. CampusPin links to each school's aid policy on its profile.
