SAT ↔ ACT score converter
Convert between SAT (400–1600 composite) and ACT (1–36 composite) using the official 2018+ College Board / ACT concordance table. The same table is what U.S. colleges use when comparing applicants who submit only one of the two tests.

How the concordance works
The College Board and ACT publish a joint concordance table that maps SAT composite scores (400–1600) to ACT composite scores (1–36). The table is built from the score distributions of students who took both tests. Most U.S. colleges that consider both SAT and ACT scores use this table to compare applicants consistently. The concordance is not exact — small score differences within the same band (e.g. 1340 vs 1330 → both ACT 29) often don't change admissions decisions.
The concordance was updated in 2018 after the 2016 SAT redesign. Older score-equivalence charts are no longer valid.
