College search by state, planning worksheet
A one-page worksheet to help a student decide which states to explore and what kind of institutions to focus on. Record public/private and two-year/four-year preferences, jot candidate colleges, and open each state’s full college list on CampusPin. Free to print, save as a PDF, or share with families.
How to use it
- List the states the student wants to explore (home state, neighbors, reach regions).
- Mark whether they lean public or private, and two-year or four-year.
- Check how many colleges CampusPin lists in each state, see the national institution-distribution report for the counts, then open each state’s page to browse them.
- Add 2–3 candidate colleges per state and verify details with each institution.
