Minor
A secondary academic concentration, usually 15–24 credits, that complements but doesn't replace a major.
A minor is a smaller cluster of credits (typically 15–24) in a second discipline. It appears on the official transcript but is shorter and less in-depth than a major. Common minors are paired with adjacent fields (Computer Science major + Mathematics minor) or non-adjacent passions (Engineering major + Spanish minor). Minors do not require a separate application and rarely cost extra time when planned early.
